SQL Server, Sybase, Dbase Application Development in Visual C++ and Visual Basic:
Burnettworks designed and developed a multi-threaded international data/voice communication server application for Otis Elevator Company using Microsoft Visual C++ and the Active Template Library (ATL). ActiveX Data Objects (ADO) were applied in the multiple tier Windows NT application. COM/DCOM interfaces were designed and implemented to control communication devices such as voice modems and analog switches. An ActiveX application using Dialogic telephony device drivers was designed to provide a scaleable voice solution in 32 countries. MS Access and SQL Server 7.0 were used as ODBC data sources. The design utilized Network Data Objects (NDO), Remote Procedure Calls (RPC) and SQL Server Stored Procedures.
