Film and Video Effects Software Development:
Burnettworks has developed a "COM like" (no library nor header dependencies) API that allows video and film editing software to host third party effect plug-ins (DLLs). The COM design removed the C++ DLL link issues that existed in previous releases. Extensions were implemented to provide real time video (NTSC and PAL) and film image processing. Created third party SDK releases on Windows XP, 2000 and Macintosh OS 9 and X platforms. Maintained and released two JAVA based test and template wizard applications. Provided bug fixes, developer documentation and third party developer telephone and email support. Developed test effects and test plans. The designs used Visual C++, Visual J++, Metrowerks Code Warrior and Symantec Visual Café.
